Upper Perkiomen Community Church
You are invited to a free workshop provided by the staff at Off The Wall Discipleship. Below is the schedule and descriptions of what will be taught. During each session our team will be teaching on two different topics and you will have the option to choose which one to attend.
Understanding Salvation & Essentials of Discipleship: Our grasp of the saving work of Christ and what that means for ourselves and those we disciple is vitally important. Not only will we dive into the depth of what salvation means for us but then we will look at the essential building blocks of disciple-making.
Disciple-Making Prayers: What should I be praying for? How should I be praying? We get these questions often and want to share the importance of prayer and some great prayers to pray.
Discipling in Evangelism: How do we grow and stretch ourselves and others in the sharing of our faith? We will look at the call to be a witness, gift of evangelism, and what some of the differences are.
Discipling in Christian Ethics: Moral and ethical decisions are a constant struggle in the lives of people. We will dig into to how we must walk people through making these decisions with a biblical perspective.
Dealing with Conflict: Having healthy conflict is vital to any relationship and church body. We must not avoid conflict but seek to restore and reconcile brokenness in ourselves and others. We will take a look at what healthy conflict can look like.
Developing Deeper Relationships: There is hard work and skills needed to develop deeper relationships. We will look at some skills like observation and asking good questions and how they can help us take our relationships to a deeper level.
